Follower is build following the plans of the well known catamaran-designer James Wharram. Six years need Peter Ward to build this cat with his own hands in Namibia. Peter made this ship in a very high standard.

James Wharram subscribes and builds catamarans since the 60s and, besides, has developed quite an own style. Anyhow I find the name: "The VW coach under the catamarans" which I have read somewhere, as very suitable. Good sail qualities by a very high bridge deck freedom with a lot of place in deck distinguish not least the catamarans.

With her 46 feet length an amount of place - offers the Follower of course also for the numerous coyachtsmen who have already announced themselves. With 4 double bunks and two baths is for 8 people more than enough place. In addition, the saloon can be still altered to the double bunk, so that with max. 10 people aboard also the possibilities of the galley would be outbidded!
